One of the biggest compliments I can receive as a photographer is a referral. When previous clients are so happy with my work they recommend me to their friends and family, it’s a giant honor! That being said, I’m starting off this post with a quick shoutout to Ashley for connecting Elizabeth to me.
When Elizabeth and I planned her maternity session, we initially arranged to meet at Cade’s Cove. The weather had other plans and we ended up changing last minute to the Knoxville Botanical Gardens. I believe this actually turned out for the better. We were there during the full bloom of spring! Flowers were blossoming in every direction and made for the most stunning backdrop.
As we walked around the gardens and took photos in some different spots, we got to know eachother more. Elizabeth and Tyler told me all about their elopement in Colorado. We showed eachother photos of our elopements and talked about how special destination weddings are! We also have a shared love for the mountains. The smokies were a big reason why this sweet couple chose Tennessee as their home!
We shot right up until the sun set over the mountains. I absolutely love the way those last golden rays from the sun make an appearance in the final images of the session.
It was such an honor to capture this special moment in their lives. I can’t WAIT to hear if baby is a boy or girl. Congratulations you two, and thank you again for the privilege of being your photographer!
